Reminiscent

Did I spell that word right? Reminiscent? Oh well....that's me today. So I was looking through old pictures on my computer and I noticed that I had these videos of us on our first trip to vegas. They are not the best of videos because some of them were not intentional, but still I hope you all enjoy it.

You can find the different files here: http://yoojinny.com/videos/

Oh yes! I bought a new camera! I'm so bad...I know...but I LOVE it!!!!

It is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX8. I gave my older Canon camera to my brother Peter. He likes it a lot. He took it to his friend's birthday party and had a good time taking pics and videos. I will be able to take my camera out more often because I won't feel like I'm holding a big brick with me. hehehe. This now gives me no more excuses!

Oh yes, here are some pictures from one of our weekend outings to downtown SD. There is a pic of Sean, Sheila, Brian and I at the downtown Yardhouse. Food was pretty decent. The mac and cheese was superb...minus the chicken chunks.

Corny

I was feeling a little under the weather so I decided I'd laugh at my corny self by reading through my previous journal entries. I can't believe I had so many emotions running through myself. I made things a lot worse than they really were. Everything was such a big deal....why?

All's I can say is...teenagers...

I've been listening to a lot of korean radio. I'm especially interested in listening to this one radio show called "Ghost Nation". The DJ is this guy named Shin Hae Chul. He is the lead singer in a rock band called "Next". He kinda reminds me of Howard Stern. He says what he wants to say, and his topics answer so many questions people are afraid to ask. I was listening the other day about how this man was sued because he was caught illegally downloading four movie files. The man said he isn't at fault because his grandson did it and that he already had three of the four movies at his home. But then Shin goes and says then to consider this. Do you go to your nearest Blockbuster and say, "Since I already own a copy at home, I'm just gonna take this one for free!"
No, you don't say that.

There are other very interesting stories but for some reason that's the only one that comes to mind. ...hehe.

Here is a link just in case anyone is interested. You have to have an IMBC id and password and...oh yea, you need to understand korean too..heh.

A case of the Mooondays...

I think I was suffering from a classic case of a case of the Mondays... It felt like I was doing a thousand things and I was the only one who seemed swamped. I really mind people calling me on Friday, but they all decide to keep it til Monday! ARg!!! I was suffering from a nausea and headache towards the end of the day. I thought I was coming down with something. I really didn't want to get sick though. But after I went out to 3rd Street with Carol and got some fresh air....it got better. I just needed to get out of the office environment. Bleh.

I actually got to work really early today! It took me 50 minutes! w00t! I think I'm gonna go home at 5 today! yay! But then I have to go to the gym...booo....but I don't wanna get tubby...so yay!!

Does anyone read this?

Spontaneous First Musical

I had my very first musical experience last night at the Ahmanson's Theater. I went to watch a pre-Broadway musical called "The Drowsy Chaperone"

It was quite funny and I was really excited about watching it because I had been hearing commercials about it on the radio. I saw several TV commericals as well. I went because my boss's husband's Law partner had these tickets for the show and she needed people to go with because her husband was sick with bronchitis.

I really liked it. I was laughing a lot! I would definitely recommend people to go watch it. I won't ruin it by telling you what happened. It's basically about this guy who introduces us to an old Broadway musical from 1928 called "The Drowsy Chaperone"...(fictional). We then enter the wonderful world away from ours and enjoy the stories and the singing and the happiness this carefree musical. It is a tribute to the high spirited "fluffy" musicals of "yesteryear".

Well...Brian is napping on my bed right now. He came down last night so he could go to my work's Holiday party tonight ....in 2 hours....hmm I think I need to go get ready.

tootles!

Corporate Gifts

Hello all,
I just came back from having dinner with Soo. It was kinda cut short, but I'm glad I got to see her. I was also able to get a CD that I wanted to get for a while now....so all is good. Expensive CD though. Makes me wanna steal it more and more. But the store that I go to is saying that if I accumulate 10 stamps, I can get one free CD! I have two so far. That's pretty cool. The group is called Clazziquai. I was sitting in my car after I got home to listen to it more...I'm listening to it right now!

Oh yea, here is the picture of our Christmas tree

At work, we got some gift from our auditor friends at BDO. The boxes look pretty, but the contents in it don't do it justice. But it was very nice of them though.

And last but not least, here is a picture of my little ducky friend. He sits and keeps me company at work. =)

I need to really clean my room. It's quite a mess. But you know...my mom says that people who are a little messy...usually have good personalities. So maybe that's why I'm not as ashamed of having a messy room....hehhehe.

I still have SO much knitting left to do!! Ahh!! I gave myself a lot of time too....booo cindy...booo. But I get so tiiiiiiiiired.

Ugh...headache

Ugh....I woke feeling very dizzy today. I hate this feeling like I just got off of a roller coaster. I actually came to work today because I thought it would go away after a Tylenol. But I'm at work right now...feeling...sub-par. If I move around, I get dizzy. I need to just look in one place. But I shouldn't be complaining because I found out yesterday that Ruby came down with the Chicken Pox. It turns out that she never got it when she was a kid. I know that it is more dangerous to get it as an adult so I'll tell her to be careful and get lots of rest. The thing is...I saw her on Sunday and she looked dandy. Scary these things...

I watched "Win a date with Tad Hamilton" last night. Josh Duhamel .....ohhhh so hot. But you know...I really liked Topher Grace too. He's pretty cute as well. I love the puppy dog eyes that he gives...awww so cute.

I just had some Pastrami Rachel which is basically a pastrami sandwich with coleslaw and swiss cheese. I had it with a side of potato salad. It was very soul-y and yummy. I took a nap afterwards for about 30 minutes and now my headache is back again. I dunno...I just feel under the weather today. I better drink more fluids.

Spumoni !!!

Hello again!
I told myself that I was going to make a habit out of blogging....but apparently it's not catching on. I had a good weekend though. I went to SD as usual. I'll post a snippet of my email to my girls for laziness-sake:

So, I went to SD as usual this weekend. It was quite rainy on Friday on my way down to SD. I actually saw a really bad accident over in no-man's-land before you hit the border patrol on the 5. It was raining and very windy and I was trying to drive as carefully as I could. Well, I had just finished listening to a classical version of a Christmas carol and was getting ready for the next holiday-filled song....when....I see a car in the #1 lane on the other side of the freeway. Now...when you look at oncoming cars...you see white, yellow, and the occasional blinding blue. However, I saw...Red! I'm thinking to myself..."Uhhhh...I shouldn't be seeing red..." and in the next 2 seconds, the car smashes into the railing dividing the highway. I heard and felt the car's impact with the railing. I also felt debris on the left side of my car that scared me even more. I was SO afraid that the car was going to go through the rail and hit me. But I was ok. whew... but I couldn't close my mouth for the next two minutes. All the other cars started to drive reeeeally slowly. I should have called 911, but it didn't dawn on me because it didn't happen to me. I should have though now that I think about it....

So people...drive safe out there.

In other news.... Brian and I went and ate at Buca and had yummy pasta and yummy cake with Spumoni...but I don't really like spumoni. Very patriotic though.

I put up my Christmas tree last night. It looks decent. I couldn't find my ornaments so I wasn't able to decorate it to its full beauty. I took a picture though. I'll put it up later tonight. It's cold...I'm gonna drink my tea now.
